Foorban, a Milan, Italy-based online restaurant startup, raised €650k in funding.
Backers included unnamed private investors.
The company, which has now raised approx. €1.15m in total to date, will use the funds to consolidate its presence in Milan and launch its service in new cities across Italy.
Co-founded by Stefano Cavaleri, Marco Mottolese e Riccardo Pozzoli, Foorban is a food delivery startup which aims to differentiate itself from competitors by controlling the entire process, from cooking to delivery, and leveraging a team of chefs offering different menus each day from a total of 600 recipes already ideated.
The company says it is currently delivering approx. 4,000 meals a month.
