AeroMobil Receives Investment from Patrick Hessel

AeroMobil, a Bratislava, Slovakia-based developer of innovative flying cars, received an investment from Patrick Hessel.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Patrick Hessel, founder and CEO of c2i, a manufacturer of composite parts of the aerospace and automotive industries and one of the key technology partners and component suppliers for AeroMobil, last week sold 50.1% of the company to LG Hausys, which provides automotive light-weight components within LG Group.

The company plans to use the funds to strengthen its capital and further prepare its flying vehicle for sales and production.

Led by CEO Juraj Vaculík, AeroMobil is an advanced engineering company that is commercializing a flying car, combining a luxury sports car and a light aircraft in a single vehicle, which complies with all existing regulations for road and air transport.
