Spark Capital Closes Second Growth Fund, at $606M

Per an SEC filing, 55 investors participated in the offering of Spark Capital Growth Fund II, L.P.

People related with the funds are Paul Conway, Todd Dagres, Jeremy Philips, Megan Quinn, Santo Politi, and Bijan Sabet.

Founded ten years ago, the firm invests in startups led by creative thinkers who make products and services for consumers as well as business people and, beyond capital, it offers internal support dedicated to facilitating knowledge-sharing and relationship building opportunities from CEOs, to product managers, to marketing people and customer experience associates.

Spark Capital, which operates from offices in San Francisco, New York City, and Boston, has over $3 billion under management. It has backed such category defining companies as AdMeld, Oculus, Postmates, Slack, Tumblr, Twitter, Warby Parker, Wayfair, and Wealthfront, among others.
