Science, Inc., a Santa Monica, California-based venture capital firm, is seeking to raise its second fund.
Per an SEC filing, Science Ventures Fund II, L.P. has a target of $60m. It has not raised any sum, yet.
Led by Mike Jones, Peter Pham, Greg Gilman and Tom Dare, Science builds, buys and invests in innovative media and ecommerce companies by leveraging its centralized technology and marketing platform, along with its operational leadership. Since 2012, the firm has backed dozens of startups, and internally built more than ten companies across commerce, marketplaces, media, and mobile sectors.
