Planity, a Paris, France-based platform allowing consumers to make an appointment at the hairdresser, the beauty salon or the barber shop close to home, raised $1.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Alven Capital with participation from angels like the founders of KelDoc, PriceMatch and eFounders.
The company intends to use the funds to improve its commercial offering and extend the service throughout France.
Launched in Q4 2016 by Antoine Puymirat (ex CEO and founder of ClicRDV), Jérémy Queroy (ex Regional director at Schwarzkop), and Paul Vonderscher (ex Lead Developer at ClicRDV), Planity provides consumers with a SaaS platform to identify and to make an appointment at the hairdresser, the beauty salon or the barber shop close to home. Completely free for the consumer, available at any time, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, Planity targets the 120 000 beauty salons and hairdressers.
