Peerspace Raises $11M in Series A Funding

peerspacePeerspace, a San Francisco, CA-based online marketplace that connects professionals and businesses to spaces, raised $11m in funding.

Backers included Foundation Capital, Mitsui Fudosan, Carthona Capital, and Red Bridge Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Rony Chammas, Founder & CEO, and Matt Bendett, Co-Founder, Operations and Marketing Leader, Peerspace is an online marketplace for large and small automotive, healthcare, fashion and tech companies and individuals to find short-term space for their work whether for an meeting, social event, or production.
The company’s service is currently available in Austin, Berkeley, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Chicago, Culver City, El Segundo, Emeryville, Glendale, Great Neck, Hoboken, Kings County, Los Angeles, Malibu, Menlo Park, New York, Oakland, Pasadena, Queens County, Redondo Beach, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Monica, and Sausalito.
