Internet TV Company iflix Raises $90M in Funding

iflixiflix, a Malaysia-based Internet TV company, reportedly raised $90m in funding.

Backers included Liberty Global (LBTYA.O), Zain (ZAIN.KW), Sky PLC (SKYB.L), Catcha Group and Evolution Media Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand throughout Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Led by Patrick Grove, iflix is an Internet TV service, offering users unlimited access to top TV shows and movies from all over the world with a huge selection of comedies, drama, K-drama, cartoons, movies from Hollywood, The UK, Asia for one low monthly fee.
Subscribers can watch on their mobile phone, laptop, tablet, TV… wherever, whenever.
iflix currently has 4.5 million customers.
