Gauge Capital, a Southlake,TX-based private equity firm, closed its oversubscribed second fund, at $500m.
Gauge Capital II LP was largely subscribed by partners with Campbell Luytens serving as their advisor.
Led by Drew Johnson, Tom McKelvey, and Whitney Bowman, Gauge Capital is a private equity firm that partners with owners, managers and equity stakeholders of middle market services and technology-enabled companies in the healthcare services, business services, consumer and food sectors with an EBITDA of $5-$30m.
The portfolio includes Beauty Industry Group, Teachers of Tomorrow, Wireless Vision, Capco, CTI Foods, Combs Produce, Industrial Container Services, InnerChange, River Point Farms, and Veridicus Health.
The team also include James Jackson, Andrew Peix, Sam Banon, Daniel Gedney, Sam Smith, Mike Alberts, Shawn Conway, Kunal Sachdev, and John Vedro.
