Coras, a Dublin, EIRE-based event ticketing platform, raised €1.9m in funding.
The round was led by Atlantic Bridge University Fund with participation from Edge from U2, Hambro Perks, Elkstone Capital, and Dave Burke.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop the infrastructure and launch the platform.
Led by CEO Mark McLaughlin, Coras connects tickets to customers through a global distribution platform so they can purchase tickets through any Coras-connected site. Its pool of ticket inventory will be connected to some of the biggest online brands via an API integration, enabling these brands to sell tickets in addition to their core offering.
Ahead of launching this year, first ticket inventory partners include Nimax Theatres and Ambassador Theatre Group.
