Comparesoft Secures Initial Investment from Mercia Technologies

comparesoftComparesoft, a London, UK-based AI-driven software comparison technology company, secured an initial investment from Mercia Technologies.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop the site and and expand the service to cover other types of business enterprise software.

Established in 2015 CEO Prasanna Kulkarni and CTO Matt Melling, Comparesoft has developed a software comparison technology platform that identifies the asset management software packages (including IT, Asset Tracking, Property, Inventory, SAM & Fixed Asset Management) that are most relevant for the user’s requirements and ranks them in order, with links to further information.

The service, which uses machine learning and web indexing techniques, is free for software buyers, and is monetized from software vendors.

Comparesoft has been used by over 5,000 businesses including organizations like Transport for London, PwC and Just Eat.
