Cohero Health, a NY-based digital health company, closed its Series A financing with the addition of Samsung NEXT and Omron Healthcare as investors.
They added to the previously announced $9M Series A financing. Considering a $2m seed funding closed in December 2015, this commitment from Samsung NEXT and Omron could reasonably amount to approx. £3m.
Their investments will support the broader commercialization of BreatheSmart, as well as product development and differentiation across the platform.
Led by Melissa Manice, Co-Founder and CEO, Cohero Health provides connected health tools and technologies to empower respiratory patients and improve care through smart mobile devices. BreatheSmart, its respiratory disease management platform, enables tracking of both controller and rescue medications, along with clinically accurate lung function measurement, in real-time.
