Brigad, a Paris, France-based short-term job matching platform, raised €2.2m in series A funding.
Backers included 50 Partners and Square Capital.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop the platform and consolidate its presence in Paris and expand operations beyond the French capital.
Co-founded by Florent Malbranche (CEO), Alexandre Rovetto (COO) and Jean Lebrument (CTO), Brigad operates a mobile and web platform that allows industry professionals to find available qualified profiles in the hotel and restaurant sector on-demand and that helps users deal with the entire transaction process in terms of payment, insurance, contracts, etc.
Launched in October 2016, the service has grown from 500 hours agreed to nearly 4,000 hours in January 2017.
