Get Spiffy, Inc., a Research Triangle Park, NC-based on-demand car care, technology, and services company, closed a $5m Series A funding.
The round was led by Bull City Venture Partners with participation from Development 72, IDEA Fund Partners and Industry Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into new markets, invest in technology and explore additional services.
Led by Scot Wingo, CEO, Spiffy is an on-demand car cleaning, technology, and services company, which provides an app that allows anyone to schedule, track and pay for car washing and detailing services at the time and location of their choosing. Spiffy washes every vehicle using an environmentally-friendly system to clean vehicles.
The company, which currently operates in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California, is also announcing the acquisition of ongoing operations from Squeegy. The acquisition will allow Spiffy to provide services for the over 14,000 residential and commercial relationships previously serviced by Squeegy.
