ROKT Closes $15M Series B Funding

roktRokt, a NY-based provider of a platform that connects advertisers to customers when they are most receptive, completed a $15m Series B funding round.

The round was led by Moelis Australia Asset Management, part of Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), with participation from Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME) and existing investors John Ho, Lachlan Murdoch, Greg Roebuck and Square Peg Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of its transaction marketing technology, expand its management ranks, ramp up international market growth as well as acquire strategic assets that will strengthen its value proposition.

Led by Bruce Buchanan, CEO & Chairperson, Rokt provides with an algorithmic engine to help e-commerce marketers engage with and acquire customers by optimizing their journeys, and monetize underutilized portions of their websites.
To date, the company has worked with over 2,000 clients, including such brands as eBay, Ticketmaster, Expedia, Hotels.com, Time Inc, Groupon, Dominos and Emirates to help achieve better online commerce results by improving customer engagements and delivering native monetization.
ROKT, which also works with thousands of performance marketers focused on acquiring large numbers of new customers at the point of transaction, has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.
