Hellocar, a London, UK-based car buying platform, secured £1m in funding.
The round was led by JamJar Investments, and Alex Chesterman. In conjunction with the funding, Henry Lane Fox will join Hellocar’s board as a Director.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the existing team and launch in Manchester.
Founded by Nic Carnell, Hellocar allows people to buy a car online from home. The company promises all the cars available on the platform have passed a 168-point inspection process and adds new cars to the website on a weekly basis.
The company partnes with the UK’s Automobile Association to provide inspections & warranty, and with Aviva to provide insurance.
