Chatbooks Secures $11.5M Series B Funding

chatbooksChatbooks, a Provo, Utah-based service that automatically turns digital photos into photo books, secured an $11.5m Series B funding.

The round was led by Aries Capital Partners with participation from previous investors Signal Peak Ventures and BYU Cougar Capital.

The company, which has raised over $20m to date from investors including Kickstart Seed Fund, Peterson Ventures, and angel investors such as Utah CEOs Aaron Skonnard and Jeremy Andrus, intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing efforts, create new products and grow into new international markets.

Led by Vanessa Quigley, Chatbooks is a subscription-based service that automatically turns digital photos including Instagram, phone Camera Roll, and Facebook pics into photo books.
Chatbooks retails at as low as $8 for a 60-page photo book.
