Aviso, a Menlo Park, California-based predictive sales startup, raised $8m in funding.
Backers included Scale Venture Partners, Next World Capital, and Shasta Ventures.
The company, which has raised a total of $31m to date, intends to use the funds to continue to develop the product and hire new people in sales, marketing, and customer service units.
Led by new CEO Michael Lock, and K.V. Rao, founder, former CEO, and now chief strategy officer, Aviso leverages machine learning to provide businesses with a SaaS-based sales forecasting solution to optimize their performance.
Customers include Splunk, HubSpot, RingCentral, Saba, and Replicon, among others.
Past backers included Shasta Ventures, First Round Capital, Cowboy Ventures, and Bloomberg Beta.
