Tracx, a Bethesda, MD-based provider of social media management software, closed a $12.5m funding round.
The round was led by Camden Partners, with participation from Edison Partners and Tracx CEO Rick Rudman. In conjunction with the funding, Jason Tagler, Partner at Camden Partners, will join Tracx’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to increase sales and marketing efforts as well as expand the product presence.
Tracx provides companies with a social media management software featuring social listening and analytics capabilities to hear and react to the full conversation online.
Clients include Sears, EA Games, Nestle, and BAE.
