The Noodle Companies, a NY-based family of education technology companies, raised $5m in Series A funding.
SWaN & Legend Venture Partners made the investment.
Founded in 2010 by John Katzman, CEO, Noodle Companies operates four companies, including:
(1) Noodle.com, an education discovery tool for parents and students to make better decisions about learning choices;
(2) Noodle Markets, which provides tools for K-12 schools and districts to buy products and services;
(3) Noodle Partners, which works with universities to create agile online degree programs, and
(4) Noodle Pros, which connects students to tutors for one-on-one test prep, academic support and learning-disability assistance.
The company is also backed by Osage Ventures and Rethink Education.
