Soapbox Labs, a Dublin, EIRE-based developer of a children’s speech-recognition technology platform, raised €1.2m in seed funding.
Backers included Astia Angels and Enterprise Ireland.
The company intends to use the funds to expand in EIRE and the US.
Soapbox provides a speech-recognition technology platform for children’s voices (kids aged 4-10) to ensure accuracy and power voice-enabled apps and services for children. Applications include education, voice based search, connected/interactive toys, gaming & virtual reality, wearables & the internet of things solutions.
