Lola Raises $15M in Series B Funding

lolaLola, a Boston, MA-based on-demand, personal travel service for members to search for hotels, flights and anything else they need, raised $15m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Charles River Ventures with participation from Series A investors General Catalyst and Accel. As part of the investment, CRV Partner, Jon Auerbach, joined Lola’s Board of Directors.

The company plans to use the funds to continue investing in product development and to begin marketing an all-new version of Lola planned for this spring.

Led by Paul English, CEO and Co-founder, Lola is a travel company that provides on-demand, personal travel service through a smartphone app. The Lola app instantly connects people to a team of travel consultants who find hotels, research vacations, book flights and anything else customers need, even partnering with select companies, institutions and membership organizations.

The company is now finalizing the released of the second version of the platform, which will offer a mobile experience and AI-assisted hotel recommendations.
