Suiteness Closes $5M Series A Funding Round

suitenessSuiteness, an Oakland, CA-based online booking platform for luxury hotel suites, closed $5M Series A funding.

The round was co-led by Bullpen Capital and Global Founders Capital with participation from HVF (Co-Founder of PayPal, Max Levchin’s personal fund), YC’s Continuity Fund, Kima Ventures, Altair Capital and other investors. In conjunction with the funding, Eric Weisen, Managing Partner at Bullpen Capital, will be joining Suiteness’ Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds for expansion into 10 new cities by the end of 2017 starting with Orlando.

Led by CEO Robbie Bhathal, Suiteness provides families, large groups and business travelers with an online booking service for thousands of exclusive luxury and apartment-style hotel suites. Launched in 2015, the platform currently has close to 50,000 members and provides access to 30,000 luxury suites in Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando and London.
The company, which currently has a roster of over 100 hotel partners including The Venetian & Palazzo Las Vegas, Caesars Entertainment, SLS Hotels, Viceroy and Dream Hotels, among others, also provides guests with a 24/7 concierge that will help with access to local restaurants, clubs and entertainment.
