Privacy Secures $2.2m in Seed Funding

Privacy, a NYC-based provider of software that protects digital rights, secured $2.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Rocketship.vc and angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds for product development, engineering resources and growth efforts.

Led by Bo Jiang, CEO and co-founder, and Andy Roth, Privacy has officially launched its first payments product designed to keep people’s personal and financial information secure.
Designed for everyone, the solution generates a new virtual card for every credit card transaction a shopper makes, protecting them from the worry associated with credit card fraud, data breaches, and identity theft.
