Maropost, a Toronto, Canada-based enterprise digital marketing startup, received an investment from Elephant and Highland Europe.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds for geographic expansion, as well as for the development of new products and functionality including machine learning.
Founded in September 2011 by by Chairman and CEO Ross Andrew, Maropost operates Maropost.com, which provides organizations with an on-demand integrated platform to connect with customers via email, mobile, social, automation, and display.
Supported by collaborative global services teams, the company also integrates with several sales and marketing information systems such as Magento, SalesForce, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and with the client’s own internal systems.
Clients include Mercedes-Benz, Rolling Stone & SHOP.com among others.
