LaunchDarkly Raises $8.7M in Series A Funding

launchdarklyLaunchDarkly, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a feature flag management platform for software teams, raised $8.7M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Josh Stein of DFJ. In conjunction with the funding, Stein will join LaunchDarkly’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to hire engineers to continue to build the platform.

The company, which now serves billions of flags (daily) to customers like AppDirect, CircleCI, Lanetix and Upserve, has both web and mobile SDKs, including .NET, PHP, Python, Python Twisted, NodeJS, Java, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, Go, iOS, and Android.
