LaunchDarkly, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a feature flag management platform for software teams, raised $8.7M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Josh Stein of DFJ. In conjunction with the funding, Stein will join LaunchDarkly’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to hire engineers to continue to build the platform.
Co-founded by Edith Harbaugh, CEO, and John Kodumal, CTO, LaunchDarkly provides a feature flag management platform for software development teams to separate feature rollout from code deployment, reduce risk, manage subscription plans or microservices, take control of feature releases with percentage rollouts, granular user targeting, and a suite of feature flag management tools.
