HealtheeOne, Inc., an Iwaki-city, Fukushima, Japan-based developer and provider of products and services in the TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) and Healthcare combined fields, raised US$0.8m in seed funding.
Backers included business partners and Japan Finance Corporation, a national government-backed financial institution, which provided the company with a subordinated loan.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance and accelerate team development for product engineering, sales & marketing, and customer services.
Led by Masakazu Koyanagi, Founder & CEO, HealtheeOne provides core technologies and services for front-line care workers and operators to reduce the burden of daily paperwork and to increase patients’ and family members’ satisfaction.
The company currently has around 20 team members in and out of Japan, and is developing a brand-new business assistance service for clinics, targeted to be released and announced by the end of 2016.
