Element AI Receives Investment from Microsoft Ventures

elementaiElement AI, a Montreal, Canada-based artificial intelligence incubator, received an investment from Microsoft Ventures.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Composed of a research lab connected to academic ecosystems globally, the incubator aims to support organizations in implementing an “AI-First” strategy, enabling them to develop their own artificial intelligence solutions.
Co-Founded by serial entrepreneurs Jean-François Gagné and Nicolas Chapados, along with Yoshua Bengio, launches and incubates advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions in partnership with large corporations and research institutions.
The new collaboration will allow these partners to leverage Microsoft strategic resources including the Azure environment to solve artificial intelligence needs.
