Cambridge Touch Technologies Closes Series A Funding

camtouch3dCambridge Touch Technologies (CTT), a Cambridge, UK-based developer of low cost 3D Multi-Touch technologies for smartphones and tablets, completed its Series A funding round.

The financial details of the investment were not disclosed. The round was led by existing investor Cambridge Enterprise, with participation from Amadeus Capital Partners and new investor Parkwalk Advisors.

The funds raised will be used to grow the company’s technical and customer support teams, and to continue commercialization of its novel and patent-pending 3D Multi-Touch technology for smart devices.

Co-founded by CEO Corbin Church and CTO Dr Arokia Nathan, Cambridge Touch Technologies develops low cost 3D Multi-Touch technologies for smartphones and tablets that integrates into existing manufacturing lines. A spin-out of the University of Cambridge, the company supports its OEM and supply chain customers with IP, know-how, analogue and digital technologies, and advanced system architectures.
