Azur Drones, a Boulogne-Billancourt, France-based video surveillance service which leverages drones, closed a €3.5m funding round.
Backers were not disclosed. They included a French large industrial family.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its reach and make acquisitions.
Created in 2012 by Jean Gagneraud, Président, Stéphane Morelli, Directeur Général Opérations, Azur Drones is a market leader in civilian drone solutions specializing in data capture and processing, consulting, training and monitoring services. In details, the company’s offering includes Azur Drones’Guard (videoprotection), Bati Drones, Thermo Drones, TP Drones and Expert Drones.
Azur Drones currently has 15 employees.
