True Link Financial Raises $3.6M in Funding

True_Link_HomepageTrue Link Financial, a San Francisco, CA-based financial services provider for seniors, completed a $3.6m round of funding.

Backers included Kapor Capital, Initialized Capital, Symmetrical Ventures, and the Ziegler Link-Age Longevity Fund, LP.

The company, which has raised $7m in equity and venture debt since launch in 2012, intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing of its debit card, and its software tools, and to release its new online financial advisory service, True Link Financial Advisors.

Founded in 2012 by Kai Stinchcombe, CEO, True Link Financial provides a range of money management, investment, and insurance products, primarily for retirees. Its main products are:
– a debit card with budgeting and anti-fraud features,
– a set of software tools to create and administer trusts and manage benefits eligibility, and
– an online financial advisory service, True Link Financial Advisors.
