Scooterino Raises €500K in Funding

scooterinoScooterino, a Rome, Italy-based provider of an app that connects scooter owners and passengers going to the same direction, raised €500k in funding.

Backer included Lazio Innova and two American angels.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand into Rome and (later) nationwide.

Founded by Oliver Page and Francesco Rellini, Scooterino provides a mobile app that connects verified scooter owners, called “Scooteristas”, with people who go the same place/direction and share the journey and expenses.
The app, available for iOS and Android, now works in the city center of Rome.
