Logz.io Raises $16M in Series B Funding

logz.ioLogz.io, a NYC- and Tel Aviv, Israel-based AI-powered log analytics platform, closed a $16m Series B funding.

The round was led by OpenView Venture Partners with participation from existing investors 83North and Giza. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Baum, venture partner at OpenView, joined Logz.io’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to scale globally.

Founded in October 2014 by CEO Tomer Levy, Logz.io provides an AI-powered log analysis platform. It combines machine learning and human interaction with log data to improve DevOps and IT Operations via an automated scientific process that uncovers overlooked events and provides actionable data about context, severity, relevance, and next steps.
The company, which offers the open source ELK Stack as a cloud service with machine learning technology, currently services more than 1,000 companies from 80 countries internationally including Dyn, Turner Media, British Airways, ServiceNow, and Electronic Arts.

In addition to the funding, Logz.io has also announced it has hired Bridget Gleason as VP of Sales to expand its world wide sales organization.
Gleason was most recently VP of Corporate Sales as well as Executive Advisor at Sumo Logic. Prior to Sumo Logic, she was VP of Worldwide Sales at Yesware and Senior VP of Worldwide Sales at Engine Yard.
