GoOpti Raises €4.4 in Equity and Grant Funding

gooptiGoOpti, a European shuttle platform available via web or mobile platform, raised €2.9m in Series A funding and a further €1.5m in EU grant funding (Horizon 2020).

Investors in the Series A included EBRD, Point Nine Capital and RTA. The EU grant funding was provided in the framework of Horizon 2020 program.

The funds will be used to expand further across several European locations.

Launched in 2011 by Marko Guček and Tomaž Lorenzetti, GoOpti connects passengers travelling from smaller towns to big airports. Today, the company has 700,000 passengers across Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, 500 shuttles, 723 partnerships (with shuttle companies, agencies and airlines including SkyScanner, Emirates and Costa cruises).

It is based in Zagreb, Croatia, Verona, Italy, and Slovenia, Ljubljana.
