Encore Technologies, a London, UK-based platform for people to find and book musicians for gigs, raised over £560k in seed funding.
Backers included Entrepreneur First and angels Andrew J Scott, Andrew Gault, John Taysom, and Charlie Songhurst.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team and marketing efforts as well as expand globally.
Led by James McAulay, CEO, and James King, CTO, Encore connects people with musicians worldwide for paid performances. Today, the platform handles the majority of the bookings in the UK and Ireland with some gigs already taking place in France, Switzerland and the USA.
