Cogito Raises $15M in Series B Funding

cogitoCogito, a Boston, MA-based provider of real-time emotional intelligence solutions, raised $15M in Series B funding.

The round was led by expansion stage VC OpenView, with participation from existing investors Romulus Capital and Salesforce Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Scott Maxwell, Founder and Managing Partner of OpenView, joined Cogito’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development and delivery of its deep learning and other advanced product capabilities.

Led by Joshua Feast, CEO and co-founder, Cogito provides a cloud-based workforce optimization application that analyzes phone conversations and provides real-time behavioral guidance to allow phone professionals to express empathy and connect with customers. Cogito is deployed in a growing number of Fortune 500 healthcare, insurance, and financial enterprises.
