Bluebridge, a Fishers, Ind.-based Software-as-a-Service mobile app engagement platform for churches, tourism entities and employers, has sold its church and tourism business units in two separate transactions totaling $8m.
The deals include:
– echurch powered by PushPay, a technology provider of mobile giving and engagement solutions for faith-based organizations, acquired Bluebridge Churches; and
– Simpleview, a provider of sales and marketing solutions for destination marketing organizations, acquired Bluebridge Tourism.
These transactions have enabled the company to completely focus on Emplify, its business unit that allows organizations to connect with and inspire their teams through configurable mobile apps to improve employee engagement.
Led by Santiago Jaramillo, CEO and founder, Emplify uses native mobile app content and instant push notifications for communication to give employees a voice and a tool for feedback, connect employees to one another to foster relationships and allow employers to communicate key company information and share resources in app.
The platform also measures employee engagement with surveys that analyze 15 key drivers of engagement.
Emplify was brought to market in July 2016 thanks to a $3m Series A funding round led by Allos Ventures and Cultivation Capital and is today used by thousands of employees in the construction, retail, real estate, manufacturing and healthcare industries. Customers include NFL Trust, Duke Realty, RT Moore, Medxcel, Which Wich and Gaylor Electric.
The company has over 50 employees.
