analyticsMDanalyticsMD, a Mountain View, CA-based AI powered healthcare software company, secured $13M in funding.

The round was co-led by Norwest Venture Partners and Mayfield with participation from Y Combinator and the Stanford-StartX Fund.

The company intends to use the funds for product development and to accelerate the delivery of its artificial intelligence software platform to U.S. health systems.

Led by Mudit Garg, CEO, analyticsMD provides health systems across the U.S. with an AI powered hospital operations software platform. It collects massive amounts of messy healthcare data, processes it in real-time to predict issues and outcomes and recommend immediate course-corrections, which are sent to frontline teams.
The platform, which addresses operational challenges across the hospital including emergency departments, perioperative areas, inpatient and outpatient, is used by leading community, academic and public hospitals including Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, El Camino Hospital, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Medstar Montgomery Medical Center, Natividad Medical Center and Mercy.
