SoloLearn Raises $1.2M in Seed Funding

sololearnSoloLearn, a Pleasanton, CA-based global coding community, raised $1.2M in seed funding.

The round was led by Learn Capital with participation from a number of private investors.

The company intends to use the funds to add new forms of interactivity, advanced content, and further community features.

Launched in 2014 by Yeva Hyusyan, CEO, SoloLearn is a global community of mobile code learners that enables people to learn the basics of software programming and advance their existing skills through solo and peer-to-peer learning, coding, Q&A discussions, and head-to-head games. It currently teaches Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Swift and other skills.
The company has achieved over 10M downloads on Android, web, and iOS.
