Serverless Secures $3m in Seed Funding

Serverless, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based creator of the Serverless Framework, which enables companies to build web, mobile and IoT applications comprised of cloud services that scale automatically, secured $3m in seed funding.

Th round was led by Trinity Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Austen Collins, Founder and CEO, Serverless builds developer tools for event-driven serverless infrastructure. In June 2015, the company began building a serverless application framework enabling developers to build web, mobile, and IoT applications on event-driven compute services like AWS Lambda.
The company has just brought its Serverless Framework V1.0 out of beta, which – after being tested by hundreds of startup and enterprise companies – is ready for production.
Next, Serverless will focus on supporting more cloud services in the Serverless Framework from the other major cloud providers, like Google, Azure and IBM.
