Linse Capital Closes Second Venture Capital Fund, at $22M

linse_capLinse Capital, a Menlo Park, CA-based venture capital firm, closed its second fund, at $22m.

According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, nineteen participated in the offering of Linse Capital CP II.

Led by Managing Director Michael Linse, the firm invests in late-stage technology companies in the transportation space. It has already led a $50m funding round in ChargePoint, a Campbell, California-based provider of a network of electric vehicle charging stations.

Prior to founding Linse Capital, Linse was a partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers for seven years where he invested in ChargePoint, Proterra, uShip, Telogis, INRIX, Friedola, HYLA, and Redaptive. Before joining KPCB, he worked at Goldman Sachs for over a decade.
Linse earned a BA degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
