Latimer Group, a London, UK-based youth co-creation agency, completed a £1.1m equity investment.
Backers included a mix of institutional and individual investors.
The company is using the capital to accelerate the growth of its agency business, bring in senior hires and build out their technology platform, Bulbshare.
Led by Matt Hay, Latimer specializes in building communities that drive innovation for brands and partner organizations tackling issues ranging from homelessness, knife crime and child marriage. It works with young people to become active citizens via specially-created communities throughout each stage of a project, from research to distribution, and encourages them to share ownership of the campaign’s output.
In the last 5 years, the team has worked with over 50,000 young people to generate insights that lead to co-created content.
Clients include the BBC, the British Council and the Nike Foundation.
