Joymode Raises $3m in Funding

joymodeJoymode, a Los Angeles, CA-based equipment rental platform focused on experiences, raised $3m in funding.

The round was led by Homebrew with participation from Slow Ventures, Lowercase Capital, TenOneTen, Collaborative Fund, Founders Collective, Sherpa Ventures, Scott Belsky and Emil Michael.

The company is using the funds to expand operations.

Founded by Klout’s Joe Fernandez, Joymode is an equipment rental platform that allows users to choose products to enjoy experiences and deliver them to home and pick up everything at the end of reservation.
Examples of products to rent include URB-E scooters, giant games, backyard movie equipment, grills, coolers, popcorn machines, etc.
