Paris, France-based private equity firm Idinvest Partners* appointed Julien Princi as General Counsel.
Princi specializes in the creation of private equity funds and related transactions. He has experience with fund structures and both European and US regulation. He will report to Syvianne Guyonnet, Partner and COO at Idinvest Partners.
Before joining Idinvest Partners, Princi spent 14 years working in the asset management industry. Most recently, he worked as Deputy General Counsel for Amundi where he was in charge of the private equity and real estate activities.
Princi initially worked as Head of Compliance and Risk for Amundi Private Equity Funds in Paris before transitioning to Amundi Investors USA where he held the same role. Prior to Amundi, Princi worked at SGAM Alternative Investments as Head of Product Administration and Creation and before that with SG Asset management as Head of Legal for the Private Equity Division.
Before working in asset management, he worked as a mergers & acquisition attorney for law firm Salans (now Dentons) in Paris for almost five years.
