Evidation Health, a San Mateo, CA-based provider of a healthcare study platform, closed a $15m funding.
The round was led by B Capital Group — a global venture fund founded by Raj Ganguly and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, with participation from existing investors GE Ventures, AMV, Fresco Capital, and new investor Pappas Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its operations, to continue to improve its machine learning engine for large scale behavior data analytics and digital biomarker development, and extend its direct population reach.

It also enables partners to add and analyze new types of activity data from hundreds of clinical and consumer wearables and everyday applications.
