Biz2Mobile, an Abingdon, UK-based mobile device software provider, raised £3.6m in funding.
Backers included YFM Equity Partners ($2.5m) and existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of its new analytics tool, Elemez, both in the UK and with its global partners.
Founded in 2002 by Julie Purves, CEO, Biz2Mobile is a provider of software for rugged and industrial enterprise mobile devices.
It offers:
– mprodigy, a mobile enterprise management platform that delivers mobile business process-centric analytics, and
– Elemez, which enables firms to remotely monitor and measure their mission-critical mobile devices in the field, using predictive analytics.
The company, which has already partnered with leading manufacturers including Zebra Technologies and Panasonic Computer Products Europe, has marketing and sales operations in Atlanta, GA.
