Adtech Startup Honeycomb Raises £3M in Series A Funding

honeycombHoneycomb, London, United Kingdom- and Frankfurt, Germany-based TV and video ad management platform, raised £3m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Beringea, with participation from David Bell, Richard Jameson and John Spearman.

The company, which has raised £4m in total to date, intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operationss.

Founded by James Carpenter and Richard Carter, who both previously founded Adstream, Honeycomb provides a platform that automates the submission process of video advertising – taking assets from advertiser to broadcaster and publisher – via fast delivery, collaboration, and smart data.

Clients include Sky, Splash, and Wieden+Kennedy.
