Menlo Park, CA-based venture capital firm Foundation Capital has promoted Dave Armstrong to Administrative Partner and General Counsel, Dave Singer to Chief Financial Officer and Meg Sloan to Marketing Partner.
Dave Armstrong, who joined Foundation Capital in 2009, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm, as well as for the firm’s investor relations. He also serves as Foundation Capital’s General Counsel, providing legal advice to the firm, as well as support to its portfolio companies. Prior to joining Foundation, Armstrong worked for the law firm of Gunderson Dettmer.
Dave Singer, who joined Foundation Capital in 2005, is responsible for the firm’s financial management, reporting, and information technology. He is also involved with the operational and administrative management, including human resources and facilities.
He brings more than 15 years of experience in Venture Capital finance, having started his career at Mohr Davidow Ventures in 2001.
Meg Sloan, who joined Foundation Capital in 2014, is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s brand, marketing, and communications efforts. She also provides marketing counsel for the firm’s portfolio companies and works on systems related to relationship management and marketing.
Sloan joined Foundation Capital from Facebook where she was Director of Global Business Marketing.
