Adtech Company Sync Raises €2M in Funding

Sync, a Sevres, France-based developer of tech solutions for the mobile and interactive TV, raised €2m in funding.

Backers included Idinvest Partners and Entrepreneur Venture. In conjunction with the funding, Benoist Grossmann, Managing Partner of Idinvest Partners, will join Sync’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its new product Sync2AD,

Created in July 2015 by Laurant Weill, Sync is advancing Sync2AD, a mobile ad synchronization technology platform which is able to recognize a sound and instantly display rich media to enrich the commercial TV and radio experience on the second screen, engage consumers as they are available and want to interact.
More than 25 major advertisers including Gillette, Canal +, Renault, Nissan, Leclerc, Babyliss, Kiabi, 30M friends, Unilever, Dunlop, etc. have already used the technology.
