sensewhere Receives £1.4M in Funding

sensewheresensewhere, a Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based provider of indoor positioning solutions, received a £1.4m in funding.

Scottish Enterprise provided the grant.

The company will use the funds to hire new people and further develop its location software.

Led by Jim Devine, Chairman, and Rob Palfreyman, CEO and co-founder, sensewhere is creating software that offers universal location and navigation data in dense urban areas including shopping centres and airports, where GPS and other global navigation satellite systems are blocked.
