San Diego, CA-based FusionX Ventures has launched a venture capital fund focused on early-stage IoT startups.
Created in partnership with D&K Engineering, a global design and manufacturing company, FusionX Ventures Announces Investment Fund will focus on finding, funding and growing startups through the combination of strategy, venture capital and operational expertise.
Led by Ken Hood and D&K Engineering co-founders Alex Kunczynski and Scott Dennis, FusionX Ventures is actively investing in early-stage companies with products fusing hardware, software and cloud (IoT). The fund has backed five companies to date, all of which involve smart, connected machines.
